Abri des Ruisseaux
Located at the centre of the hiking and ski trails, it’s a day cabin definitely not be missed. One word defines l’Abri des Ruisseaux (the Shelter by the brook): charming! Not necessarily large, this cabin quietly waits for visitors to cross the threshold and experience its tranquillity. It will leave no one indifferent to its timeless effect of peace of mind and a rested soul. Welcome to the heart of the forest!
Feel like spending the night? Don’t forget to make a reservation, as you need a key in order to use the beds. There is sleeping available for 4 persons. As this cabin is open to all hikers, it must be vacated by 10 am., but by this time you will probably already be on the trails! It’s possible to leave your baggage in the baggage box next to the cabin simply by using the padlock from your bed. This shelter is located 5 km hiking or snowshoeing from P2 and 4 km by Nordic skiing.

There is no drinking water in this cabin. However, if you use the baggage transport service (min. 4 persons), we will supply 20 litres of drinking water when we deliver your baggage.

A 4 baggage minimum is mandatory ($64.00 + taxes = $73.58).
Your bag should not exceed more than 40 lbs (approx. 20 kg).
Hockey bags or similar outsized gear cannot be transported. Coolers or other materials count as one baggage.
Rules and regulations
The cabins are inspected on regular basis. Any damage or deterioration inflicted to the cabins will be brought to the attention of the guest who will ultimately assume the repair cost. All trash generated by a guests’ stay should be taken off the mountain to respect our “leave no trace” policy. It’s also important to separate your recyclables from your trash.
The Regional Park Montagne du Diable will not, in any case, be held responsible for possible thefts in the cabins (it is therefore recommended to always lock the cabin before leaving).The Regional Park Montagne du Diable will not be responsible for the guests’ cabin keys. In the event that a guest forgets to return the keys, it is his or her responsibility to cover the cost of returning the keys or pay the appropriate fine. The same policy applies to lost keys as well.
If a guest accepts to transfer their photos to our image bank (photo gallery) at the end of their visit, he or she is accepting that the Regional Park Montagne du Diable can use the photos for commercial purposes without compensation on the part of the Park Regional Montagne du Diable.
It is prohibited to make a fire or to smoke in the forest as well as outside the cabins except for the predetermined places to this effect.
It is prohibited to pick or destroy all natural elements as well as approach or touch any wild animal.
